FABRIC PROCESSING AT PLAIN DYE UNITS.
@. The Plain dyes at Tushar Handworks are done in open fields, in natural/difficult atmosphere bye illiterate men labor. They come from far distant villages leaving their family behind to earn livelihood. They have to work under natural conditions and change of weather.
 @. There are hand operated rollers which are used on fire to dip the fabric in dye and rolled again and again till the fabric gets the required shade.
@. The dyes are of chemical sources and hand mixed.
 @. Due to illiteracy of the working community, sometimes enough washing is not done or enough dye fixers are not put. As a result the products are liable to bleed in initial washes.
